Sustainable Development

The world has agreed on seventeen sustainable development goals. These goals form a guideline for the actions of companies, organisations and countries. None of these goals is about the plastic soup, but many have to do with it.

Global Goals

In September 2015, the United Nations established the sustainable development agenda for the period until 2030, accepted by all members. Read more.

SDG’s and the plastic soup

To combat the plastic soup, it is necessary to focus on the whole plastic life cycle. Learn more about the different stages.

Individual SDG’s

Sustainable goals development have been accepted by the UN. If none of these goals are specifically about plastic pollution, seven of them are linked to it.
